Senior Accountant

The Role:

At Repurpose Inc. finances are the fuel that keeps our company moving. We’re looking for a qualified Senior Accountant to keep our company and clients’ numbers and budgets on track with unwavering accuracy. The most successful people will have a natural passion for math, and a strong understanding of the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial transactions within an organization. He or she will play an enormously important supportive role, keeping our company and clients’ financial outlook bright with precision and proactive measures.

You will be the stakeholder of a range of vital responsibilities under the operations umbrella, including controlling A/P & A/R, maintaining financial reports, preparing and analyzing budgets, managing broker commissions and other general bookkeeping. You will report to the Director of Operations. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives

  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all operational management accounts

  • Maintains historical records by filing documents

  • Record all financing activities

  • Manage payroll and quarterly tax filings through ADP

  • Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets

  • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

  • Prepare payments by accruing expenses and assigning account numbers when needed

  • Request disbursements and reconcile accounts

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions

  • Reconcile sales tax liability and file Sales and Use Tax returns quarterly with the CDTFA

  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

  • Processing Invoices as necessary

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Must have experience in developing standards, analyzing information, dealing with complexity, reporting research results

The Role:

We’re looking for a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk to provide support to our department. You will be responsible for managing the company’s A/P, ensuring that all records are inputted into the system prior to the month-end close, completely and without error.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for entering vendor bills into QuickBooks

  • Bill.com management

  • Audit customer billbacks for promotions

  • Manage customer billback disputes

  • New vendor setup

  • Perform account reconciliations on vendor statements

  • Collect and join all invoices and bills to customer paystubs

  • Assist in the closing of books each month

  • Keep meticulous digital and paper records of all bills

  • Work to resolve systemic customer issues that affect A/P

  • Distribute broker commission statements

OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Role:

The Operations Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the entire planning, supply chain, co-manufacturing and logistics infrastructure for Repurpose encompassing a robust DTC platform and multi-channel retail expansion.

The role not only demands a seasoned strategic lens, but also a tactical team player willing to roll up their sleeve and dive into the weeds. It will require a mix of proactive analysis and strategic development, as well as cross-functional leadership and excellent project management.

He or she will play an enormously important supportive role, keeping our company moving forward with precision and proactive measures.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will report to the Director of Operations. You will be the stakeholder of a range of vital responsibilities under the operations umbrella including:

  • Develop and manage demand plan based on business trends 

  • Identify demand forecast risks and develop mitigation plans

  • Maintain and Implement BOMs in inventory management system

  • Co-manufacturing relationship management

  • Inventory management across different sales channels

  • Process direct retailers and distributor POs, generate sales orders and send all sales orders to main co-manufacturer; ensure revenue is recognized for outstanding POs

  • Manage relationships with all vendors/suppliers to manage supply, negotiate pricing, and effectively balance run rate and inventory position 

  • Manage coordination and communication with carrier partners & shippers/receivers

Associate Digital Marketing & Ecomm Manager

The Role:

In this position, you’d be responsible for helping to manage all manner of our digital brand experiences. The role is a hybrid of strategy and operations, but candidates should also have a sensibility and an excitement around marketing and creativity. This role has the advantage of contributing to a long-term vision. The team is small but growing so there is tremendous opportunity for the right candidate to further their career.

Having undergone a rebrand (which will launch shortly), we are now expanding into beautifully designed reusable products with low carbon footprints. This role is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a disrupter brand taking on one of the largest issues of our time, plastic waste. Are you up for the challenge?

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting and coordination of performance marketing:

    • Collaboration with media agency to oversee KPIs, connecting performance marketing to on-site conversion.

    • Oversight of social growth, engagement, influencers, email data, etc.

  • Collaboration with Director of Marketing to manage and give feedback to partner agencies (media, design, creative advertising, press, influencer, etc.)

  • Simple content strategies and UX, e.g. email flows or updating our site to incorporate new products

  • Coordination and management of digital partnerships with like brands

  • Administration of budgets and invoice processing

  • Collaboration with our Production Coordinator to manage marketing files, shared drives, content libraries

  • Collaboration with creative and media agencies to handle ad trafficking

  • Oversight of a customer service representative

  • Other smaller marketing projects or tasks as they come up

  • Up to 5 years experience in a digital environment. Experience in ecomm is required. Digital agency experience is a plus.

  • Hands-on management of digital platforms and communities such as websites, social media profiles, customer service, and/or email.

  • Experience coordinating or managing partners: simple briefings, production timelines, etc.

  • Basic data synthesis and reporting experience using digital paid media, Google Analytics, social analytics, etc.

  • Functional knowledge Sprout Social, Mail Chimp, Klavio, Zendesk, Monday.com, Airtable, Smartsheets or like products

  • Experience synthesizing and packaging up information to present recommendations to stakeholders

  • Hands-on-experience with Shopify

  • Knowledge of performance and growth marketing, SEO, SEM, A/B testing, etc
